Teachers in Mendota Unifed learn to make music for the classroom.
This workshop quickly enables teachers to use the autoharp in the classroom. It's a method Evo has taught to hundreds of teachers (also available on instructional dvd). The class may be arranged on a one-time basis or in successive meetings.
All attempts to locate autoharps from within your school or district should be made. You may also inquire about autoharp rentals or purchases. The Evo Bluestein autoharp (Evoharp) is now available.

A letter of appreciation for the outstanding services you provided for our primary students and teachers. The assemblies were loved by the students. Staff members still cannot believe they are playing autoharp and singing with their classes! As you remember, we started with a group that said. "I can't sing," I don't know anything about music", etc. etc. Because of your methods, we soon found that "Yes!" it is easy to learn to play the autoharp, and "Yes!" I can lead my class in vocal music.

Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified School District, CaliforniaThank you so much for the class at Fresno State. I am so motivated now to use music in my job as a library media teacher and with my GATE students and my Girl Scout troop.

It was a real privilege to learn under someone of your musical stature, but I was most impressed with your ability to communicate to us on a beginner's level without making us feel belittled. You treated us with respect and it's an unusual gift for a skilled musician to have that tolerance level for beginners. What a gift you've shared. Thank you.
Carolyn Ocheltree, Teacher, Fresno, CaliforniaIf you haven't seen Evo or had an opportunity to learn from him, you've missed a great opportunity. A superb old-time multi-instrumentalist, high-energy performer and excellent teacher. Actually, Bryan Bowers credits Evo with helping him develop his own unique style. Catherine Brittel, Washington
The Autoharp Jamboree surveys were filled with praise of your efforts . . . You upheld the chromatic harp tradition very well and, I was very pleased with your approach to both autoharp style and repertoire. Thanks, again, for your participation.
Elliot Hancock, The Ozark Folk Center, Mountain View, ArkansasEvo is one of only a handful of people qualified to teach the old-time style of playing our instrument.
Eileen Roys, Autoharp Clearinghouse JournalThanks again for the class. I have already tried some of the new techniques and songs in my therapy practice and during recent dulcimer club performances. I felt much more confident than in the past. Thanks! Lorinda Jones, Music Therapist, Kentucky
