Folk Programs for Schools offers the Folk Rhythm & Dance Residency

Many California schools give their students the valuable experience of Evo Bluestein's Folk Rhythm & Dance Residency. Following the 1-, 2- or 3-week residency, most schools choose the Friday night "barn dance" (often with Evo's live band). Everyone enjoys getting in on the act. Below, the principal of Lone Star Elementary School joins the circle and "shows his motion" to the delight of students, parents and staff!

To those schools who scheduled residencies this year, Happy Holidays
and Many Thanks for bringing this program to your school.

If you are thinking of booking a repeat or first-time Folk Rhythm & Dance Residency, for 05-06, please don't hesitate. The early birds will get the week of their choice! (see schedule).

In addition to the Residency Program, there are still a few openings for the Folk Music Assembly.

Below are a few recent scenes from Fall 2004 residencies held at: Del Mar Elementary, Fresno; Sierra High School, Tollhouse; Lone Star School, Sanger; Washington Primary School, Mendota; and Las Juntas Elementary School, Martinez.
