Three School programs that provide excellent programming for U.S. schools • 40 Years of Experience! • Folk music and dance residencies and assemblies, supporting the curriculum and meeting VAPA standards.
American Folk Dance Residency
Week-long community building dance classes that culminate in a Friday night barn dance. Activities may include: Appalachian Clogging, African-American Ring Games Mexican/Early California Dances, Virginia Reel, Waltz, Circle Dances, New England Contra Dances, American Square Dances, English Country Dances. Students gain important social tools while developing spatial/motor skills, getting a healthy workout, and having lots of fun. Read more

The American Folk Music Assembly

Music Week
A week of hands on learning with autoharps: chords, rhythm, singing, repertoire. Evo uses the autoharp to teach basic music principles. Students will quickly be accompanying their own singing with autoharp. “That week was one of my favorite weeks. I will never forget this experience.
